- Task Data: Task names, descriptions, durations, and priorities.
- Household Data: Names of other members in your shared space and combined task logs.
- Device Information: IP address, device model, and operating system.

We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the Knapsack Service.
- Analyse usage to improve our scheduling algorithms.
- Provide customer support.
- Deliver advertisements (if you are on the ad-supported tier).
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information with:
- Cloud Infrastructure: Firebase (Google Cloud) for hosting and data storage.
- Analytics/Error Tracking: PostHog and Sentry.
- Advertising Partners: If on the ad-supported tier, we share non-identifying device IDs with advertising networks.
4. Your Content and Households
Task data within a Household is shared with all other members of that Household. You can leave a Household at any time, which will remove your access to that shared data.
5. Your Rights (UK & EU)
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Request the deletion of your data through our "Delete Account" feature.
- Object to the processing of your data for marketing.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will purge all associated personal records within 30 days, unless required otherwise by law.
