Welcome to Knapsack. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Knapsack mobile application and marketing website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Pine ("we," "our," or "us").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Knapsack, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are located in the United Kingdom, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2. Description of Service
Knapsack is a task management and focus planning tool. We provide both free and premium subscription tiers. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
- Free Tier: Personal task management with core features.
- Premium (Ad-supported): Includes household sync and gamification. Ads are served via our partners.
- Premium (Ad-free): All features with no advertisements.
Payments are handled via Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions recur monthly or annually unless cancelled 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purposes under UK law, including but not limited to harassment of members in your Household.
5. Intellectual Property
Knapsack and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Pine and its licensors.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Pine be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. Your statutory rights as a UK consumer are not affected.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
